Descripció
Situated on a 423-metre hill, the Castell de Santueri is one of the three rock fortresses in Mallorca and one of the most impressive on the island. With a history dating back to Roman and Byzantine times, this castle played a key role during the Christian conquest of the 13th century and was an important defensive point for centuries. PasL'oratory, located 216 metres above sea level, was built between 1852 and 1856 under the direction of the rector Sebastià Serra. The image of the saint was placed in the chapel in 1853, the bell in 1855, and the chapel was completed in 1856. In 1862 it was declared a diocesan oratory. With a simple structure of a single nave with a barrel vault, the chapel stands out for its facade with a rose window, a bell tower with a spire, and the coat of arms of Father Sebastià Serra.

The path and stairs leading to the chapel were built at the beginning of the 20th century. In 1983, it was restored on the initiative of the Croats de l'Amor Diviní, with the participation of the people of Felanitx. The last restoration was in 2010, with the placement of street furniture and the restoration of the fourteen stations of the Viacrucis with photographic ceramics made by the photographer Gabriel Bennàssar.

The chapel is closed to the public, but the path, which starts on Carrer d'es Call, offers fantastic views of Felanitx along a one-kilometer route. Walking along its walls, you can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the Mallorcan coast and the Tramuntana mountain range.Place
