Descripció
What do Bellver Castle, the Headquarters, the Lonja and the majority of churches in Mallorca have in common? The marés stone. And that is what this route is about, seas and quarries from which it was extracted, which runs through a small promontory next to the town of Felanitx, Sa Mola, which together with the Santueri Castle were the two centers where it is known that the first settlers settled. in this area, back in the Talayotic era, apart from having caves where they buried their dead. During the first part of the tour we will see a wall about 200 meters long from the same period and which is speculated to have reached 2 meters high. Hidden by the weeds there is an entire water collection system excavated in the rock, buckets, channels, ponds and a cistern, the one in the photo of waypoint number 8, little known in the Talayotic era.
